    Rumor Alert

I just checked and GSN isn't even listed on my app. :eek I don't have any filters set. Every channel is listed, with the exception of GSN. Weird.

    Rumor Alert

Just because they're testing the channel is no guarantee that it will ever go live. We've been teased many times before.

    Rumor Alert

GSN is long overdue. Dish and my local cable co. have had it for years.

    NBA Package vs NHL/MLB Package

NBA League Pass includes select preseason games as part of the package, the NFL and NHL do not. That's why you don't see the channels.

Can you still "move" to NYC and get the east networks?

I've always wondered how this works exactly. Do you use someone's address that you know in the area you're "moving" to? What if you don't know anyone in that area? How does this work?

DIRECTV SD Service on CRT HDTV

There is. Make more money. ;)

    Sunday Ticket on Roku.

Why the sarcastic comment? Using a VPN to make it look like you're coming from somewhere else is quite a simple process.

    NFL Sunday Ticket Question

All the preseason games are aired on the NFL Network. Only a handful are live, though.

    NBA Single game PPV

The problem with the NFL doing a "team" package is that there will a big difference in the amount of games available between each team. Every team has at least one national game, that's not part of Sunday Ticket. Some teams might have 4-5 national games. No one is going to want to pay the...

    2015 Sunday Ticket Deals/Offers

I'm done trying to get offers from D*. Waste of my time.

CUBS WLS Feed on MLB.tv but not on Directv?

This is exactly why I dropped EI, long ago, and went with MLB.TV instead. Not only do I have access to all feeds, no matter their origin, but it's way cheaper, too.

    Sunday Ticket 2015...

The London games have never been national broadcasts. Until last year, there was only one London game each year, and it was played in the 1PM ET timeslot. It was always a regional game and was available on ST.

    Sunday Ticket 2015...

They did a whole lot more than just getting Revis back.

    Sunday Ticket 2015...

I think you mean Bills/Jaguars. And no, the Jets do not have the smallest fan base in the NFL. Not even close.

    Sunday Ticket 2015...

I guess you haven't noticed what the Jets have done so far this offseason. That defense is special again.

Switching from dish to direct tv. How exactly do I go about it?

I would wait until D* actually starts promoting the free Sunday Ticket, in their ads, before making the switch. I wouldn't rely on the word of a CSR, unless you get it in writing.

    New HD channels in testing

You really don't like spending money, do you? :biggrin2

    New HD channels in testing

But the 3 mentioned that are coming in HD are?

    New HD channels in testing

Agree. Dish has had it for years.

Directv D14 live, directv D10 down (update: D10 now working)

Still waiting for my email. I never get offered deals, like other subscribers, I never get discounts of any kind, and now they don't even bother sending me an email about the outage. I swear, D* hates me.

    Watch ESPN

You said you wanted it on your TV, and that it doesn't look good to you if you run HDMI from your computer to the TV. Well, the other methods are the easiest way, and they look great. The reason I doubt D* will add the app to the receivers is because it wouldn't make sense for them...

    Watch ESPN

I seriously doubt that D* is going to add the WatchESPN app to their receivers. Like I told you before, you can get access to ESPN 3, on your TV, via boxes like Roku, Amazon Fire, or Apple TV. You can get the Amazon Fire TV Stick for about $39, and you can do a whole lot more with it than just...

    Watch ESPN

Exactly. I really get the impression that a lot of people think they need to have access to WatchESPN to get the ESPN 3 games. That is not the case. As long as your ISP provides access to ESPN 3, you're good to go. You don't even have to sub to a TV package to get it.

    Watch ESPN

You were subbing to both D* and Comcast at the same time?

I notice most of the shows that the Genie recommends are no where near what I'm interested in...

Maybe for you, but not for me. Not even close to anything I would watch. I turned that feature off when I was using a Tivo.
