    I actually just found the answer on Forbes.com. Since there is no DVR functionality, there would be no pausing either. I'll have to wait to next year it seems if I want DirecTV Now.

    Your correct, as I have been going back and forth between the two for 19 years. At least DISH is offering a 3 year price lock guarantee (we'll see how that goes). For me though, I prefer D* channel lineup packages over DISH.

    I'm getting ready to go back to Dish from D*. Is your new antenna pointed in generally the same direction as the Dish you replaced?

    I'm doing just the opposite, going back to Dish for like the 5th time. DirecTV has been good for the past two years, no problems with signal or equipment. Had a couple of small price hikes though.
