Sony STR-DG710 Help
Not sure about yours, but if anything like my older Sony STR, the different video signal flavors are on separate buses, i.e. HDMI and component would be on separate buses and are not compatible with each other. You would need to have the HDMI from the AVR going to the HDMI input on the TV...- jlamb30

Looks like you should have what you need. I would have gotten a minimum 16 gauge speaker wire, depending on the run length.- jlamb30

In addition to the LFE channel, PLII also gives 2 full range surround channels, whereas PL gives a limited range matrixed channel to the surrounds. PL is 4.0 - left, center, right, matrixed surround, PLII is true 5.1.- jlamb30
