I've been thinking of picking up another player and I'm trying to decide between the Samsung 1600 or the Panasonic DMP60. Any thoughts? I know how awesome last years BDP35 was but after seeing a review of the DMP60 on CNET I'm a little ticked off that the load times haven 't been improved...

Being that it just came out, $299 is no surprise. I figure it will drop $25-$50 by Easter. The new Samsung came in at $299 four weeks ago and now Best Buy is giving away a free Bond Blu-Ray with purchase.

FYI for anyone interested. I just saw Panasonic's new BDP 60 at Best Buy for $299. No sign of the 80 but I'm guessing thats on its way.

FYI for anyone who is interested the new Samsung BD1600 is now available at Best Buy. It features both Netflix & Pandora streaming and is going for $299. Now if only the new Pansasonic players would start showing up I can pick one up. Anyone out there with knowledge of a possible release date...

My Bestbuy in Whitehall, PA had it for $22.99 as well. Got to love how the Blu-Ray version is $29.99. :)
