There are two sizes a 60cm dish and a 75cm, This dish is mage by channel master same as the bottom directv. I don't believe they could use a round dish like a dish 500 because of the distance between rainbow 1 & 2.

Voom talks about there upcoming dvr and there mpeg 4 transfer which they say will bring on a clearer and sharper picture. Small article but worth buying the book.

I used a eliptical starchoice dish with my voom set-up in markham and signal is ok and I have not had one rain fade issue. Also most likely voom will use this dish when they launch another bird. Voom uses same tech as starchoice here in canada/motorola.
