    Voom on Cable

Any chance that we might see some of Voom's programming on cable? Likely candidates would be: Comcast, Cablevision, Time Warner, RCN, Charter, Cox, and Verizon's FIOS TV.

WorldSport HD/ Rush HD ??? for Current Dish Customers

One would have to think that WorldSport HD will be added with the rest of the Voom 21 HD Channels at some point. I don't see RUSH carrying soccer games for long. Since there are a lot of soccer fans that subscribe to DISH, it just make plain sense to have WorldSport up and running ASAP!

WorldSport HD/ Rush HD ??? for Current Dish Customers

I believe WorldSport HD will be coming back to DISH once they put the rest of the 21 channels.

HD channels going to another system

I sure hope there is a chance of keeping some of Voom's 21 original HD channels. I would vote for WorldSport, Equator, RUSH HD and Cinnema 10. Maybe Comcast, DISH, or DirecTV will be interested in adding these channels to their service.

    Cablevision agrees to end Voom

Just want to add my two cents here. I think its real unfortunate that a couple of senile people over at Cable's LackofVision are causing this to happen. I hope there is some plan in the works, but don't have my hopes too high. Lets face it, Cablevision sucks! Well maybe Charles Dolan has a...

FCC Docket 05-72: Public Comments against sale/transfer of VOOM Licenses

Well I didn't see my name up there on that list. I submitted mine earlier today with a confirmation number. There has to be more names that have gotten submitted that haven't made it up there yet.

Voom can be closed down in 30 days. Is it really dead this time?

Cablevision sucks. I wouldn't give up just yet until we get all the final details. Here is hoping that something can be resolved.

    Voom Magazine

I was just thinking that maybe Voom should put out their own magazine. You could have the TV listings for the month, News articles about Voom, and anything that has to do with HD broadcasts. Could be similar to that of Satellite Direct or DISH Magazine. Maybe more innovative and detailed...

    What chanels will be added?

I would like to see Voom add Gol TV (English) and ESPN Deportes too. Also I would like to see NESN HD and Fox Sports New England (HD if possible). And lastly HDNet/HDNet Movies and later on when available, the Real Madrid TV Channel (English version should be available by Summer).

Charles Dolan to SatelliteGuys Members - THANK YOU!

I must reiterate this again. A tip of my hat goes off to all you guys here that have helped support Voom and to Charles Dolan and son Tom, who apparently have seen the light that this service can offer. Whether or not people want to admit it or not, HD is the future and Voom is already pushing...

    Another Take on Dolan's Move

I think Voom should hold onto its 21 exclusive channels for themselves, unless of course they get a deal that they can't refuse. Lets say Comcast wants a channel like WorldSport HD, then Comcast must be willing to let Voom carry its INDH channle. I don't have a problem if Voom decides they...

    Voom to Offer HD-LIL?

I was wondering if anyone knows if Voom plans on offering HD-LIL since DirecTV is currently getting ready to roll out this service? If so what poential markets might we see to begin with?

Why Doesn't Voom Make Their Own STB's?

I assumed that DISH made their own equipment. Unless of course it is a third party that makes them. I just figured if Voom or its customers were unhappy with Motorola, then why wouldn't they just make it themselves, despite the fact that they may have other priorities. I hope if it is another...

Why Doesn't Voom Make Their Own STB's?

With all the complaints with Motorola's STB's, why couldn't Voom just produce their own STB's and that way they could test them and tweak them to their satisfaction? Maybe this way we could get a more accurate reading as to whether or not it is the STB causing the pixelation problems or at...

DIRECTV'S LIL HD Plans VS. VOOM's OTA

Hi guys I noticed that DirecTV, it appears, has tenatively decided to use their future satellites (Spaceway) to deliver their customers LIL HD service. It seems as if part of their plan will be to broadcast HD LIL and broadband services to compete head to head with the cable companies...
