I have to agree with 007BlackMan, Jamey K and Bookwalk...I've only done spot checks on the Dish situation, but what I've seen at this point makes me very glad that I decided to abandon them all after VoOm died. For those who think that VoOm would have ended up this way if they had survivied...

I'm really glad you were satisfied...We DID see the future, and it WAS great...the time MUST come again...and many of us will be waiting...limpimg along awaiting the next coming...Missing what we know was possible is painful, but at least we know it's possible...who will come forth to validate...

TYORK, I understand and agree (from prior posts) that spahoose is probably a VoOm CSR. Having my brain engaged (not in neutral), I took the comment about "no news on purchased receivers" to mean...relative to any proration or rebates for purchasers...doesn't seem like rocket science to me...

Well, then, why not just get over it and move on to the forum of your choice? Spreading ill will in this forum will probably not change your fortunes, any more than it will change the fortunes of those of us who still wish to reside here...Vicki :confused:

All I can say is yes, and yes, and yes...I'm feeling a little luckier than some though, since I do have the option of cable for my OTA (although I get most of of what I want through the VoOm antenna!)...for only $78 per month I can pick up that extra OTA local that I want...!!! PLUS another...

...just one more reason to be thankful that there was once a magical thing called VoOm! :D At first I was tempted to laugh, but I know it's not funny for you. :no I hope Dish gets on the stick and sends you a replacement real soon, and that you enjoy the VoOm channels on Dish. Vicki :)
