I agree with you devildogg. It was NBC's decision on who gets the HD and distant SD feeds... not VOOMS. Here is a Link from someone on D* who can not get the olympics in HD. He even has had a waiver for years, but come to find out waivers do not count in this case. Jerry

Yes you can 'Force' an install now... Go to the Installer Menu... Installation Wizard... Verify Voom... then pres the Green button to continue... a screen will pop up saying that a new software version is available... You can either choose Yes or No... I chose Yes.. Mine is installing...

ABC and FOX both transmit at 720P... that sounds like your problem. On the right front of the VOOM box there is a flap... lower it and push on the red button until the top light light up. Jerry

When you stretch you get distortion... nothing you or anybody else can do about it. Either watch it like it's supposed to, pillarboxed, or watch it stretched and distorted... your choice. My question is, why on earth would somebody spend thousands of dollars on a hidef TV for a good quality...

That can be because of the angle of the camera to the court... but then again when you stretch 4:3 to widescreen you are asking for distortion. Me I always pillarbox. Jerry
