    I miss my voom too. Iam currently using OTA antanne with my Voom receiver to the local HD channels that Cox Cable seems not able to get added to their HD service.

    Cox Cable here doesn't remove any satellite dishes. All they do is disconnect at the box on the outside.

    It would be nice if cable companies can start transmitting VoOm programming. However, I guess the cable companies will have to go through DishNetwork to get the feed now.

    I wouldn't trust the sellers word that he is able to view locals using the OTA tuner either. Is the seller guarentee that OTA will work??

    Any way to reactivate OTA after kill signal?

    I tried calling Voom to reactivate my boxes when I noticed they deactivated them 3 days earlier than I requested and the CSR told me that they cannot reactivate them. So if your boxes were deactivated, there is no way back to reactivating the OTA tuner. I sure wish there was a way to get the OTA...

    Yes, you can receive your locals with no dish installed. Be sure to connect the OTA line to the OTA antenna input on the back of your stb.

    Thats what happened to me. I was planning on unplugging the stb before the date I gave VoOm to cancel me, but they ended up doing it three days before the date I gave them. I wish I didn't do it, but that's life!! Live and learn by your mistakes. Did enjoy VoOmming for a year though.
