    I just had my VOOM boxes replaced today. This was part of VOOM's program to replace the older boxes. I can't tell any difference, no program planner and the software versions seem the same. Anyone know why the older boxes are being replaced other than the freeze ups?

    When I got my VOOM installed I made them pull out my old stuff and install the VOOM stuff. The wiring I had installed still saved the installers some time. And I figure I can sell my old stuff on ebay, it's still good, and further reduce my investment in VOOM equipment.

    Does anyone know, if you have a receiver with a built in DVR, do you physically have to run a seperate cable all the way out to the dish or can you put a multiswitch right at the receiver?

    A lot of that stuff is copywriten so it's illegal to copy but if you can find it on the web without hacking and provide a link to it there is no law against that.
