    Real bad sound levels The sound mix on CBS's The King of Queens is awful. The laugh track and intro/exit music completely overwhelm the dialogue. Why is this? Is this deliberate? I can't watch anymore. :(

    MichaelG, This has happened to me often - what I've learned is that a power reboot (unplug - wait - replug) and then waiting a good while (~30 minutes - it varies) before operating the remote again works best at bringing the box back to life. Also - unplugging the phone isn't a bad idea...

    My experience has been the opposite. Prior to 7.26 I was rebooting often - since 7.26 only a few times once I disconnected the phone line/caller ID thing.

    Same thing happened to me Friday night - a big block of channels went away - mostly in the 100s and 600s. First time this ever happened. A soft reboot fixed it. Strange.

    "Powercycled" means unplugging box - waiting, and replugging it in? If so, I tried that, it doesn't help.

    My caller ID isn't working. Got the new software, rebooted box, enabled caller ID - still nothing. VOOM CSR says that the caller ID feature isn't "enabled" yet - that this is forthcoming. THis explanation sounds fishy, since it seems like it's working for others. Anyone else having the same...

    stb reboots whenever I switch channel 5-1 to 7-1 or back!

    My situation seems similar. A few weeks ago, our PBS affiliate in Pitsburgh, WQED began transmitting. However, it comes in on 13-2, whereas the PG is on 13-3. I hide 13-3, and tune to 13-2 to watch. It seems now my box has become much more unstable, locking up and re-booting somewhat frequently...

    buying used voom system any problems?

    Kind of related... If I move, say just across town, and I re-install all my Voom equipment myself, will I be OK? I pay by credit card, so that'll continue...
