For all of the MidSouth Voomers... WKNO-DT finally went live today. I did a rescan of my OTA and I am now getting these extra channels: 10-1 WKNO-DT 10-3 WKNO-HD Right now 10-3 is a black screen for me. I am assuming they are still working on the HD portion. 10-1 is working great...

Hate to burst your bubble. But right now you will not be able to get FOX 13. Right now they are transmitting at a very low power of 200 watts, and the tower is in a temporary location that is very low. So unless you are lucky, and you live very close to the tower, you won't be able to receive...

tscallions, You should be able to get all locals, except for 13 (Fox) and 40 (TBN). The reason you can not get Fox is because they are still at low power (2.2 kw). 2 reasons you can not get TBN is one beacause they are at low power also (4.5 kw) and because their tower is directional... it...

Also there is no such thing as an HD antenna. Some manufacturers added the HD to the antennas to mark up their price. Jerry

According to this thread, WHBQ FOx 13 might be going online next week. Besides Fox I am now able to receive everything OTA... even NBC. I have decided to keep my Antenna in the attic for now. I will eventually put it on the roof with a rotor. Jerry

This is where I am different than most. As far as OTA goes, I want to use MY antenna, preamp and rotor (that I choose, which I know will work)... not VOOMS (which may or may not work). That way if in the future I decide to go with Directv HD (or other provider) and dump VOOM I can still get...

Because I want them to install my antenna and also to install a rotor... things above and beyond a normal install. AFAIK they do not install rotors as standard equipment. Jerry.

I am in Southaven... got VOOM installed 2 weeks ago and the installer did not install the OTA module. I finally got the module today and I am able to get CBS, ABC, UPN, and PAX. I am using the Rat Shack 15-2160 (in the attic) UHF antenna with a old junky Rat shack amp. New Age is comming...
