Ok, thanks. I'm trying to start with the Huntington Beach webcams at 11942, but can't get a lock in that at all.

Is NBC still active here at AMC 1? I had to reset things, and can't find NBC, nor the Huntington Beach webcams? I have to ask, because I know there's been a new satellite deployed to take over.

I haven't gotten anything via C-band as of yet, but I haven't tried too hard to get anything either. I should re-try again when the weather warms up (if it ever will) by positioning the LNB a little closer to the center. I wasn't expecting much initially anyways, so even a few C-band channels...

Jim - I'm not getting anything right now with it, and just placed it to the right for now. I should try getting some channels again by moving it closer to the center. I know some people have had limited success with 90 cm dishes.

Thanks... I got it back. I did have to park it at around 108 for it to work for my setup. TP's 11840 and 11880 for the NBC Mux are coming in at a very low quality. Maybe I'll have to adjust the elevation on the dish a bit.

You can see the skew on the NBC dedicated LNB for me - it is second from the left:

I think officially it's a 26 degree skew from how the 103 LNB should be. I went 7 degrees CW from zero based on where I am (southern Ontario), as I didn't have a dedicted LNB setup for 103 initially (just a motor that could tune the main LNB to there). You could try something around 7 degrees...

Well, I finally got 103 to come back in. First of all, it was showing up as 119 when trying to scan it. I have no idea why it would (maybe due to the other offset LNB's)? Then when I was set with my one receiver, I would switch to the other receiver, and things would rotate slightly on me...

Well, I do see a jump in signal strength when I rotate to that bird and use the tp for the Huntington Beach webcams, but I get 0 quality. But the same LNB gets other satellites fine when I rotate the dish. Strange.

Yeah, Lyngsat is not always up to date, even though it is a good resource. I bet it is because the new satellite is moving into place that nothing comes in right now on AMC 1.

I believe the NBC C-Band feeds were always on 105, but there were some Ku ones that I can no longer get. I heard AMC 1 was being replaced soon, as they launched SES-3 on July 15th . But I also read that SES-3 won't be ready to be fully operational until next year... maybe it's sooner than that?

Are these NBC feeds still available on 103? For some reason, they won't come in anymore for me. I read that the Pentagon Channel did move, but I tried scanning other channels in too, like the Huntington Beach webcams, and it was no go for me (the non-NBC channels used to come in even though...

I tweaked the dish using the motor as well late last night, going 2 increments total (1 at a time) to the east, and I have no pixilation / dropouts on the East and Central channels anymore - which have the lowest quality out of the bunch. I can't wait to see Sunday Night Football on NBC via...

I found some time just before my evening activities, and I did move it closer to the centre. I saw a few percentage points jump in the signal quality I believe, but nothing major. But everything is locked in place now. Next thing might be to try out a C-band LNB with a conical scalar ring!

I see. I was trying to play around with some of the audio setup in the AZ Box, but I still couldn't get the centre channel to come in. There's about 6-7 selections, so I guess there can be a lot of combinations. Another quick question... I guess the closer you are to the centre of the dish...

I scanned in 11760 as well, and it's in the mid-60's. I can't get 11880 right now whatsoever. I thought I had it earlier for a bit, but right now, there's 0 quality. I guess that is the toughest to get. But it's still interesting to see what's on these NBC channels. Another question, how...

Well, some success... I placed the LNB in the proper position in terms of the offset on the rail as much as possible by checking out other channels on 103. Then I started playing around with the skew, and I got the NBC tp (11880) to come in at about 62 percent. I couldn't get it too much...
