    BB@Home survey from Dish

Yesterday I got a survey from Dish asking for some feedback in exchange for an entry to win a Kindle Fire. So sure, took it. Turns out it was full of questions about Block Buster at Home. Looks like they are playing with the idea of pulling the in store exchange and the video by mail and...

    Streaming with Blockbuster Thread

I have yet to ever see any bars indicating streaming performance. Perhaps they only show up if some minimum performance level isn't achieved when things start? I still see stuff I've previously viewed in My Rentals. Stuff that was weeks ago and something that was just yesterday. Watching a...

Last I heard from here, and based on my experience thus far, the only shows and movies available under the BBMP or Dish Platinum button are the same things available there prior to October 1st. When they start adding new stuff, that will be news.

Dish should enhance Dishonline.com so that you can select BBMP/Platinum shows. This would provide the opportunity for a much better interface and leverage the internet connected receivers.

DISH / Blockbuster Announcement Discussion Thread!

couple other thoughts. obviously no HBO. I assume dish will be adding a "streaming only" plan so that you don't have to have hardware installed to do streaming. I can also guess that Echostar is working on a new receiver box that will just do streaming to the tv, and maybe have OTA built in...

DISH / Blockbuster Announcement Discussion Thread!

I guess my biggest concern is this is going to cause dish to either discontinue dishonline, or turn that into a market for blockbuster online cast offs. Effectively eroding the value of dishonline for the customer base that they have continued to increase prices on claiming they are adding value.
