Q: Can it play 4K Netflix? A:By now, MECOOL TV boxes don’t support 4K from Netflix, but support on other apps, for example, YouTube 4K. The mobile version of Netflix can be installed via U disk, but the resolution is only SD Also says nothing about what audipo formats it supports.

HBO Max - WarnerMedia Announces Upcoming Streaming Service

So the movie theaters and actor / agents are upset. Doesn't matter that for decades viewers wanted home access to first run movies when they were released and not have to wait months to see them. Times are a-changin', theaters are now going to have to work to earn customers, not being able to...

HBO Max - WarnerMedia Announces Upcoming Streaming Service

Clearly? By who's opinion? Yours? Every HBO subscriber had access to HBOMax, every Fire stick, AppleTV and Google TV owner had access. Roku is the only one that fits not have it. IMHO Roku will lose users because of it. Will they settle? Of course at some point but we will never know who gave in...

    Netflix Prices Increase

At $2 a month (actually $2.15 with tax) it's worth it to me for the couple of programs I'd like to watch. I wouldn't pay any more for them.

Do Not Use Chromecast with Google TV for Sling TV

The problem is the OTA channels. For the most part the steaming channels work fine. The other problem is the remote will not control my Vizio TV or my Onkyo AVR. There are only 2 codes to try for each device and neither work.

Do Not Use Chromecast with Google TV for Sling TV

I purchased a Chromecast with Google TV to use with my Sling TV subscription. Was hoping for a better UI then the one on the FireStick/Cube. Generally the steamed channels work OK but the OTA channels (using AirTV Anywhere) have major buffering problems. There are no buffering problems using the...

HBO Max Offer (and a big question)

I guess what most people don't think about is that any internet connected service you use is using and selling your information to serve you advertisement. I haven't looked at the code here but there is a very good chance that Satellite Guys is using a 3rd party service for advertisement which...

HBO Max Offer (and a big question)

HBO Max Offer (and a big question)

Really. Why would companies like Vizio start their own advertising divisions unless they figure they could sell TV ads? https://www.wsj.com/articles/tv-maker-vizio-is-building-an-ad-business-of-its-own-11575997539

HBO Max Offer (and a big question)

You do know that the "smart" features actually lowers the price of the TV? They figure they will be able to collect data from you and sell that data. As was said, just don't hook it to the internet. https://www.businessinsider.com/smart-tv-data-collection-advertising-2019-1 and...

Which hard drive works best with the AirTV2 for OTA recording? I don't really need a huge 2T drive, just something to hold a few dozen shows at a time. TIA!
