Give your C4 antenna with a preamp a try and see how it works before jumping out and buying something else. I've got a C4 with a CM 7777 amp that works fine and I am 60 miles out from the LA towers behind a set of hills, and I get reception on channels 7 thru the 50.

Is this true for all areas, or just yours? Most of the complaints I have read about are poor reception for channel 7. It would be nice to hear that their is a problem across all areas and a possible solution is being worked on.

Nice find! OK - doesn't the chart show the C2 gain really consistant from the lowest channel graffed - probably 10 - thru channel 50 or so? It would be interesting to see the C4 specs - a 4 bay instead of just a 2 bay - for all the new digital channels from 7 up. Might just surprise everyone!

Your problem is most likely the home node. Bypass the home node and put the backwards 2 way splitter in to combine the TV2 and OTA signals. Attach one TV line to test and see how it works - play with your TV2 channel selection at that point. Once you get it to work then put your splitter...

You really don't need the home network - just reverse a splitter and use it to combine the dish TV2 and the OTA lines, then connect one of your remote TV lines and see if it works. If it does work, then put a splitter after the combiner (backwards splitter) and hook up the other TV's lines...

If you make the YouTube antenna keep in mind that where the coat hangers cross over each other - two places - you need to keep them from touching - maybe a small piece of wood between them. This will get you much better reception.

Just a thought, but would a telescoping mast on the peak of your roof supported by guy wires work? I used one many years ago that was three 10 ft sections that worked well with a rotor and all. That would be much less expensive than a tower plus you could do it yourself and save some major bucks.
