Any new HD Channels anytime soon?

Corporate HQ announces agreements with providers but the local TW decides if they will carry it or not. For example TBS is only carried by a few of the TW outlets nationwide. I'd dare say 85% of the total TW customer base don't actually recieve TBS.

Switching from Dish Network worth it?

Like Hall said, coming from Dish, you should get a good promotional rate. We did and are saving $30/month. Once the rate goes away, I'll look at my options. Bit for two years, I'm getting more programming at less cost than I was with Dish.

New to TWC - Ex Dish Network

I've had TWC for a couple of months now and still have Dish with DNS and superstations. TWC program guide sucks. To hard to read. Don't like having to push the fast forward button 3 times to skip ahead and hope you can stop the FF before missing to much of the program. I have the 8300DVR...

    New Ruling could be interesting

The cable co's will find a way to recoup these potential loss of converter box fees. Something on the order of ten bucks a month to rent the card to put in the back of the customer bought box. I mean this all sounds great right now but there's no way cable is going to lose that huge revenue...

    SA8300HD-DVR resets itself to 480i

I had the same exact issue with my new Olivia 537H and the 8300HD dvr. When the TV was turned off overnight, the next morning, the picture would be all red and I had to go into the setup menu on the 8300HD DVR to fix it. However, I can't specifically tell you what it was I did to fix it...
