When I installed it was a rate code that was included in the box.. but you needed to pay it if you had an mcard as well.

While i dont live in your area, i can generally say the internet is as fast as you want to pay for it to be from comcast. Having said that, all of its teirs are vastly superior to 95% of current dsl providors. What speed is your dsl rated for? In my apartment i can only get up to 3mbs down...

In my market if you want hd with limited basic (or lifeline I guess) you can lease an hd converter for 9.99 in addition to the 19.99 for ltd basic. And for 29.99 you can get a promo for starter at least. Usually won't include hd howevr. Sent from my PG06100 using Tapatalk 2

If he keeps anything active, you cannot start service in your name at the same address. Because they wont allow two active accounts at one address. He would need to cancel everything for you to start service at this address. As far as promos go, having the same last name may flag the account...

wow, out here in the northeast of PA our dtas are coax out only... no such creature as an hd dta. Also no such package as HD Limited Basic without paying 9.95 for a full blown HD Digital box in addition to the fee for limited basic. We are also currently 100% digital, no warning messages...
