    FTA Fourm Title Suggestion

People don't have to explicitly sign up for the FTA Forum, do they? If so, the OP's idea needs another way to be implemented... (once people sign up for satelliteguys, they can see the FTa Forum...)

    Just FYI

Not necessarily. There can be other failure modes. There are other failure modes. With all due respect, this is what separates the best from the rest. When accessing Satellite Guys, since the changes at around the time of Christmnas week: -- For me, when using Firefox to see the SatGuys...

What screen resolution is SatGuys optimized for?

That's a basic web design choice... 1024 X 768 is a small size? What resolution do you use, Pepper...?

    Just FYI

Sight... What you ought to do is get proxies that are located in various geographic areas... Then, use multiple browsers and Operating Systems to monitor the website...... (your choice...) Try this out and see how it works for you.... That would better simulate what users experience...

    Still having problems

That should help Scott and the technical staff resolve this issue with vBulletin. If you are so inclined, you could use Firefox until things clear up... What I have seen is that Firefox doesn't freeze up like IE does on SatelliteGuys. It's too bad things are going down hill....

What screen resolution is SatGuys optimized for?

That's the way it's supposed to work. But I don't see it on the front page... For me, there is a scroll bar on the bottom at 1024*768 for the front page. If I want to see the stuff on the right side of the page, I lose the stuff on the left side of the page and vice versa... On this page...

    Slow page changes on satelliteguys.com

Slow page changes are still occurring.... Sometimes the browser hangs. After a couple of minutes I close the tab and that kills the browser. Then Uncle Bill asks if I want to tell Microsoft what happened.

OT Anyone else having (timing out) posting issues?

This is still happening. The adify_box deal seems to have subsided. It doesn't hang so badly, or at least, I can't tell anymore. But IMO, there are still problems...

OT Anyone else having (timing out) posting issues?

There is still an issue where the browser freezes when a page loads. This hangs the browser. When closing the tab or window, IE crashes. Trying Firefox now to see how it fares. When this happens, the offending URL appears to be: hxxp://www.satelliteguys.us/adify_box.html

OT Anyone else having (timing out) posting issues?

What I see is the browser freezing when a page called ADIFY won't load....

It appears Scott Greczkowski likes that feature. For me, it makes the page hang while the picture loads. Then for added punishment, you can't read the text because of the screen going black.
