from what i have seen dish is good with lowering peoples bills if they call in. it's very rare that someone don't get there bill lowered and there on the internets bitchin about it. that helps retain subs to i guess.

I have a remote for old people like myself. It's called a 21.1. I only use the 45.0 remotes that came with the hopper and joeys for the rare occasion I need it. It was really easy to get both to work together. Pair this DISH!!

Any product, any company, literally everything... if you search online, you will find the minority complainers. For every person who complains, there are tens of thousands who never have an issue. The remotes are fantastic, but there's a new 60 remote for old people.

Your system IS obsolete, 722s came out in 2007, most channels still broadcast in 720 despite whatever receiver you have, The Hopper system debuted 13 years ago. Our office hasn't had VIP (722 and the like) receivers for several years, now. If you manage to get a replacement - it won't last long...

What is hopper duo? 722 is a duo; isn't hopper a solo-user box, that you have buy another box to run to for a 2nd user? Doesn't the new hopper do sling?

The only times iv'e heard of people having issues with the hoppers is when there's more than one and there network connected so they can see eachother then they start having conflicts with each other.. a few updates here and there but those have gotten better over time as well

there on e-bay for 29.95 :biggrin... and if they didn't sell em anymore why would they lease em out 🤔..now there pushing a hopper of some sort.. they were pushing the hopper DUO not so much anymore now there pushing the hopper with sling for bad credit accts i guess..
