Well, my HDTivo arrived and my new dish is installed (the V* one taken down).
But when I called V* to cancel, they offered me a credit to "wait and see." So, I'd like to put the Voom dish back up - at least temporarily - does anyone know the appropriate coordinates?
FWIW - the CSR I spoke to has this to say about the DVR (typical CSR disclaimer applies):
- release should be "no later" than end of October
- it will be a Motorola - model # DSR580
- no pricing information
- she had no information about lease vs. buy
As far as the HDTivo - best decision I've made since leaving TWC for Voom. What a joy to start watching US Open coverage last night at 9:00, skip the commercials, and go to bed shortly after 11! And to wake up this morning with Sportscenter, Leno, and my local morning news (in HD) all on the Tivo just waiting to be watched!
