Directv 5 (110W)

My dish is pointed and aligned to Directv 5 (110W) and the only tp freq I can get is 10809/14029/V but I can't find that transponder listed under that satellite???

Something has to be wrong with your LNB.. There is no freq at 10809.

The receiver's LO frequency is probably set to 9750 and the LNBF LO is actually 11250.

Didn't know an FTA receiver could lock onto DTV. Think it's most likely locked to the echo satellites there. But don't think they 'normally' use that SR. <--reason it's unpublished?????

12309 is likely the actual freq. 10809 - 9750 + 11250 = 12309

Aren't the 110°W satellites all circularly polarized as well?

Circular polarity signals can be received on linear type LNBFs with 3dB (half signal strength) loss. The OP is aimed at 110w, which has both DTV and Dish. I agree that it is very likely the received signal is Dish Network or a slight misalignment to an adjacent satellite with a compatible DVBS/S2 signal.
