'Doctor Who' 50th Anniversary to be Simulcast Internationally

Seeing how whinney & pathetic Rose was at finding out the Doctor had previous companions (Sarah Jane), I wonder how she'll react finding out he has future ones (Clara). God forbid she ever find out about River :D

As of time of writing, over 9,000 people have signed a Change.org petition asking current Who showrunner Steven Moffat to create a new television series featuring McGann as the Eighth Doctor, taking place prior to the 2005 revival of the franchise.

I think McGann is great. Was really hoping to see more of his Doctor when the movie originally aired on Fox back in the late 90's. I love the radio drama's he's done as the 8th Doctor for Big Finish Productions

I did not even recognize him with all that makeup on!
I didn't either! and I knew he was in the movie.... I was amazed. We are going back to see it again this week and I'm going to play closer attention.
Can't wait for the 23rd though and Dr. Who!!!!!!

Google is running a special Dr. Who home page ( google.com ). It is a game to have the Doctor rescue GOOGLE from various Dr. Who villains... It is interesting that when you die you come back as the next doctor... I suppose you only have 11 lives?

Very well done episode, I can see why the Simulcast in 3D would work.

excellent episode, loved seeing my favorite old museum curator

This is an interesting funny short by Peter Davison, along with a few other classic Doctor's trying to get into the 50th anniversary special.

It is geolocked on the BBC website, you can watch it there if you have a vpn, but it streams fine in the US from these other two sites

I saw them on Grahm Norton and it was funny. But each week this show is funny to me,but I have to keep the captions on to understand what all they say. They talk so damn fast and over each other so much I miss the jokes without captions.;)

I see there's another related show.
" Doctor Who Live The After Party 2013 "
I'll assume its just a bunch of the actors getting together to talk about the 50th Anniversary show we just saw.
Wonder if its worth watching?

I watched it off BBC3. It has several of the cast from the past along with Matt Smith, Jenna Coleman, Steven Moffat, John Hurt, there is also a segment with Tom Baker. Also a segment with Peter Davison, Colin Baker and Sylvestor McCoy about the Five(ish)Doctors Reboot short film(which is pretty entertaining too) Worth watching if your a Doctor Who fan, but you're not missing anything earth shattering if you don't see it.

The curator reminded me of one special companion shared by Pertwee, T. Baker & Tennant:
