Does Dish auto renew sport packages?

This past week I upgraded my programming and i see that my current balance is a lot higher than what I added.

Certain packages do get auto renewed

It may be due to Dish (as all entertainment providers) charging in advance. Difference is probably for the current part of the billing cycle you were billed for last month.

That's why you change on the date your service begins that month (your due date on the bill)

The due date and the service date are two separate things. For a dha account it will be 20 days difference. For the lowest prorated amount on a bill, you would change on the day before the start of the new billing cycle. Billing cycles will be noted on each bill.

Yes. I have NHL CI...Unless I cancel it, the service auto renews each year

Nope regular, Bill created around the 25th of each month and is due around the 8th when the billing cycle begins

The due date should be a few days into your billing cycle. What are your billing period dates? It will show next to your core package.

I'll have to look but I know the month begins on the 8th (I have DishNet so easy to keep track of that)

So it is a few days into the billing cycle, the bill is due. Mine is the 6th and 12th.
