Would like to know once for all:
1- Which probe inside LNBF is for H-polarity and which one is for V-polarity?
2- "0" marking on LNBF is aligned with H-probe or V-probe inside the LNBF?
3- When starting setting up dish, should "0" mark be initially positioned straight vertically downward, or straight horizonal on the right side when standing behind the LNB (in front of dish)?

Some make/models have the 0 mark set to twelve o'clock, and some have the mark set to 3 o'clock, when the dish is at it''s highest point about the polar axis.. You'll know which is correct by programming in a known 'hot' transponder on your southern most satellite on both polarities. When your Q reading and polarity coincides with published specs you have it in the correct position. That's how I determined one LNBF I had needed it at 3 o'clock.
(even if you get it wrong, the only detriment is your polarities will be be backwards)
