Hard drive question

Dumb question but just want to make sure, I have an external hard drive hooked up to my 722. I can still hook that up to a Hopper and still have all my recordings from the 722 right?

In theory that will work. In practice, my Hopper does not recognize the external HD with all the unmatched content I coppiced off my 722 & 622. Tech support claims this is a known bug with some HDS, but s213 didn't fix it.

Does this exception include OTA content that I recorded on my HD?

This has been fixed with the new release. You should now be able to watch all your recordings from the hard drive

I'll believe it when I see it (didn't get 215 yet). I have several that won't play from channels I still subscribe to and no one can verify they will now work.

And, you don't really need to transfer the recordings to the Hopper - some have had problems. Playing from the EHD is as simple as internal drive playing, not clunky like the 722.
