Hey guys sorry for this ive searched and couldnt really find anything on this.

My HR20 HDDVR crapped out and the DTV Tech came out and swapped it out for a HR24-200

My question is can anyone tell me some info about the HR24? Storage size? Is it any good? It looks alot better than the silver box (HR20) does.

Thanks for all the help and info guys!

The HR24 has a 500 GB hard drive, compared to 320 GB in the HR20. You should be able to notice a slight speed increase. It does not have built-in OTA tuners, but can be used with the AM21 USB dual tuner. DECA networking is built-in.

Bob gave you the numbers on the HR24, but I don't think he gave enough credit to how much faster the HR24s are compared to the previous models. There is a noticeable increase in speed.

Good and quick, around 100 hours of mpeg4 HD, and 50-60 for OTA.
