Actually, one of the best crafted shows on TV at the moment is Castle, starring Nathan Filion.

The show has:
- excellent cast chemistry
- amusing Whedon-esque witty writing
- Very high production values by X-Files alumnus Bowman

It's like Monk, in that it is a detective show with a twist.

Generally episodic, so you won't be missing anything if you catch Monday's ep (should be 10pm on ABC) without seeing any previous ones.

Watched the plane crash special late last night and saw the promo's for "Browncoats Unite"

I missed it because my timers were all busy recording, but I did records some Firefly episodes and Serenity. But I've seen 'em all before so it wasn't that exciting.

I'm surprised someone hasn't funded the making of another Serenity movie. Sure, it's not a huge money-maker, but Nathan Fillian is okay so it would be a labor of love.

Joss has stated he needs to look forward, not back. With the success of the Avengers movie, I doubt he would do anything more with Firefly/Serenity.
