I'm looking to purchase a new 46'' tv. I'm looking at the Insignia and The RCA TV's. I need any input and advice on these two.. If possible.

I've got a 2yr old 40in RCA in my office and my dad and I bought 4 40in Insignias last Christmas on sale for my nephews and nieces. They are not bad basic tv's. The RCA in my office is on 12-16hrs a day connected to my antenna and a wdtv so I can sling HD to it from my 722. It has a nice picture. The kids have xbox's, Joey's from Dish and Chromecasts on theirs and they have been good tv's for the past year. I wouldn't have a problem buying another one. Yes, you can get better tv's with more features for more money. Depends on what your wants and needs are.

Here's what I tell any "average consumer" looking for a new TV. Just make sure it's AT LEAST 1080p & 120hz. The price of the TV is up to your wallet, but if you really want my opinion which 46" TV's to buy then here they are. I don't know your budget so here they are...

1. Samsung UN46H7150 ($1,299.99)
2. LG 47LB6300 ($699.99)
3. Samsung UN46H6203 ($699.99)

PS. If these are out of range then stick to any 1080p, 120hz Vizio.

I doubt very seriously I'd ever pay $700.00 for a TV.

And I can afford to..
