Ok, I need to get a standard DVR for my spare room (aka the mother-in-law suite) :)

I wanted to pick up a single tuner dvr, but it looks like all thats around now is the dual tuner 625 & 622..

Also, I don't really want to hook it up to a phone line (don't want her ordering ppv and theres no phoneline in that room) plus it's easier to explain theres no phone line there than lock her out of the box.. thats a headache I dont need.. :)

Is there any other version of the dvr other than the 625 & 622 that's a single tuner and reasonably priced?

The older models (501, 508, 510) will work just fine. They are single tuner DVR's

Nope. AFAIK, the only receivers with no DVR fees are the 501s, and 508s.

The 721 is a dual tuner SD receiver without DVR fees.

Don't forget (even though you might want to) the 7100/7200's :D

I've got 2 with upgraded drives, and they're actually pretty stable receivers these days.
