when will they get rural tv in hd i have forwared channels request many years now and i have had no lucjk or they have refused to add rual tv into hd

So we do have famtv in HD on Dish?
NOT IN HD but rural TV is really family net which appears to be downrezzed to sd because when I watch a classic tv show the channel identifies itself as family net HD..even tho dish carries it in SD only

Copy that. Now I'm clear. Thank you.

Which in turn begs the question... If all they show is classic TV that's only originally recorded in 480.. why would you want it in HD???
I do watch it myself, but would find HD pointless...
Channel 232

The difference is astounding, even on old shows. We have TVLand in HD on DirecTV and Andy Griffith looks a thousand times clearer and better in HD. :)

That's one of the only channels we watch on DirecTV.

Much better picture quality..not HD but a noticiable improvement

The increased bandwidth of an HD channel makes a big difference.

how does the bandwidth increase why dont they convert some of there channels to over the internet save bandwidth on sat and convert them to video over the inter and for those who do not have fast internet get them so there channels ARE DELIVERER OVER SATELLITE
