Satworks ST3688 EPG help

I found the Electronic Program Guide on my Satworks ST3688, problem is...how the hell do I use it? I hit the EPG button on my remote, it opens the EPG, and there is no info, how do I get it? I have tried just letting it sit there with EPG on...but it doesn't do anything...any help guys?

Unfortunately EPG is not used on FTA channels in this country, I think maybe one or two foreign channels may have that function, most FTA satellite channels in Europe have an EPG.
