Minor thing I am curious about... I noticed that there is a slight difference in the guide font size on 720p vs 1080i on my LG TV. I have posted previously that there is no difference with native on except lag due to resolution changes. I have changed my opinion on that after someone who knew what they were going adjusted my TV. Without all the lame gimmicks in the menu screwing with the picture, there is a difference when the TV displays ESPN in 720p instead of 1080i from the Directv stb. I selected only 720p, 1080i, and 1080p in the Genie so all SD is 720p, too (looks better than way I think). So anyway... Look at 5-2's call letters ... Why does it all fit in the 720p pic (with Andy Griffith highlighted) but not in the 1080i pic on the LG TV? It fits on the 1080i guide on my Samsung TV.

I doubt it would make a difference, but does it do it during the same time block? There does seem to be a slight bit more room in the station column on the LG.

There are several channels where it does that. On the Samsung always and 720p on the LG, there is more room. 1080i on the LG is where less fits. It has always been like this, since the CE version of the black guide. The pics are both from the LG.
