Sony hedging its bets by adding DivX support to the PS3?

I guess that's one way to get pr0n on the PS3. If they won't put it on Blu-Ray, have your console play the DivX files.

That would be great! I use divx all the time when I rip my kids movies to protest the discs and right now I use my Conaxsat Trio receiver for that with and ext HD. If I can use th PS3, it'll be even easier and less cluttered on the HT stands Of course now it begs the question, Will the PS3 upconvert the divx file? My Conaxsat does.
