So basically it is the old "if you call a tail a leg, how many legs does a dog have" deal. The answer, BTW, is four, because no matter what you call something, it is what it is.

Fundamentally, TWD bought all the "episodes" of South Park so now Paramount is making "not episodes" calling these "specials" or "movies" or whatever.

I guarantee you that the white shoe law firm that represented AT&T made thousands of dollars per hour looking at the contract. I also guarantee you that some small town court house hack would have done a better job.

Now the ugliness begins.
The rumor is Warner Discovery is just trying to get out of the contract with Paramount and not pay the remaining money owed.

It has 2 years left, but this is the last year the new season will be on HBO, in 2024, Season 27 will be on Paramount+, but the older seasons, HBO has rights until the end of 2024.
