For those that use a Tailgater please let me know if your required to give your address where you will be using the tailgater. Reason I ask is that the DISH lady said you will not be able to use until you phone in your location..... This doesn't make any sense on why and how that can be done in certain areas?

they only time you need to call is to activate and deactivate the receiver.
so call in to activate and get a hit sent go where ever get back home call in and deactivate it.

If your outside your local spotbeam,then you do need to call in and update address to get the locals for where you are. If you are still inside your spotbeam, no need to call other then activating your receiver and deactivating your receiver. Example, I leave Phoenix, and go on a road trip to New Mexico. I'd need to call and update address. Or if I take my tailgater to the cowboys cardinal game at cardinals stadium, no need to call, as I'm still in the spotbeam. They have no idea where you are, or to be frank, without an internet connection, whether or not you are even receiving tee signal. Greatest part about satellite.
