Take a look how you can turn a Dish 211 Receiver and turn it into a full DVR. From the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas!

"Later this year" :(

Wasn't this supposed to be "later last year"? Looks like it's working fine to me in the video. Bring it! ;)

Hello all, I'm new to Satelite Guys. I have DishNetwork and a 50" HD TV that I purchased about 3 yrw ago. Last year I had to rent a 622 Receiver to get local channels in HD. It has a built in USB port that I just had enabled for an external hard drive. I have successfully copied some of my content from my PVR to the external drive. I would like to know if there is a program that can be run on a Windows computer to read the external drive. I can mount it on a linux computer, unfortunately the the USB drive is not recognized by Windows. I don't have any way to copy the contents to DVD in Linux that all runs on my Windows computer. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
