I heard that the remote uses a much higher freq (2.4 Ghz I think) than the IR/UHF Pro freq that the other Dish remotes use. So I don't think you will be able to sync it. :(

I was able to get I am Legend as soon as I DLd the new 612 sw. I heard you have to have updates turned off btwn 1-9am MST to get it?!?!? It worked fine on my 1080p tv....
