The Los Angeles High Def locals are on the 129 sat, not being fed to subs at this time.

However, when the cable choice is Mediacon, it's a given that there is only one other choice beside E*. :(

I find it interesting that E* is reluctant to take orders from customers who wish to upgrade...to me, it looks like a loss of revenue....it's not like Chuck to deprive his fellow shareholders. I think if I were a E* CSR on Feb 1st, I would be calling in sick....it may be a stressfull day...lol

Why would I want to get the four broadcast networks in HD? My first guess, the picture looks better through my HD equipment. :)

HD Tech Support have been my only contacts..... maybe I will try again...

. Yes, I viewed the chat, when Chuck told us that the HD feeds would not be rebroadcast to those that have subs to the distant networks, however, I get CBSHD.....why wouldn't I be able to get the other three nets? I apologize in advance for my ignorance.... Another thought...why does E*...

. Everytime I call, I am told to wait til Feb 1st... it's a little over a week, I guess I can wait.... I know when I call on the 1st, I will be in the cue for quite sometime...lol .

Was talking to a CSR last evening....having about $100. of "mysterious" charges removed from my account....I did ask about the "new" mpeg4 services. He mentioned that it looks like there will be 3 rcvr options, but we will have to wait til Feb 1st to bombard them with orders :) He said he was...

Not sure...it was during a late morning (PST) newscast, and they were joking about how much of their real selves the viewers would be able to see in HD. The way they were talking, they were speaking of the Fox News Channel. .

It was entertaining when the anchors were talking about it, comments about seeing them in HD would be scary for the viewers.... :) I hope we get a truckload of "national" networks.....

While watching Fox News Channel today, they mentioned that they were going HD in the near future. Will be interesting how long before it gets added to the line-up once that happens.
