what is the dvr advantage w 250 bonus pack? what the bonus pack?

If you get DVR Advantage for 49.99 it is AT 200. If you want AT 250 you add what they call the 250 bonus pak for 10 bucks. I think they consider it a premium since on my bill it now says DISH HD wth 1 premium 30 bucks. I pay 79.99 for Dish HD and AT 250 with locals and DVR service included.

Hello,

I've been on Autopay since the beginning, and a few months ago Dish put me on paperless billing (got a recorded call saying I've been selected for this wonderful service, blah blah blah)

So yesterday I called requesting this offer and now I have Cinemax activaed. The rep told me I had to continue on Autopay for 18 months but that's no problem...

Thanks for the tip! :)

This is my first post! Auto billing is just another way for them to have your credit card on file. I wouldn't give them any credit card number. Bunch of scamers.

Sorry about still being skeptical but anyone here have this deal for a month now and you've gotten your monthly bill showing the Cinemax? What does your bill look like online now?

On Page 2, under Detailed Charges, under Current Charges, what does it say for Cinemax? Is it 0.01? Has anyone gotten a "mistake" like it says $155.88 (price for a full year of Cinemax) or $12.99 (monthly Cinemax price)?

I signed up on 12/18 for this. I've received 2 bills since. Neither bill has it listed at all in the detailed charges section. My bill (including the one for February) has not changed by even a penny. I am on DVR advantage so I did not expect any price increase. I have yet to be charged the penny...

The service is listed under the "services I receive"

Current Programming: America's Top 200, Dish HD
Local Channels: Sacramento, CA DMA Package
Premium Channels: N/A
International or A La Carte or Add-ons: 1 YR CINEMAX PENNY OFFER, Fox Sports Bay Area, Comcast West, DISH Network DVR Service Fee, AMERICA'S TOP 250 BONUS PAK

Online in the My Account at a Glance : My Programming : International or A La Carte or Add-ons: mine shows "1 YR CINEMAX PENNY OFFER".

Noticed this on my bill, I got in on this offer way back in 12/2007 so its odd for it to renew in August but I'll take a third year.

Here's the DISH...
Thank you for using credit card AutoPay with Paperless Billing
for your DISH Network account. As a token of our
appreciation, we have extended your Cinemax premium movie
channels for just a $.01 for one additional year. Thank you for
managing your account online!

You know I've been getting that little note every other bill. I'm not sure if that means if it renews for one full year from the last bill I got in July or from last January. I've had the Cinemax for a penny deal since January 2008. It's probably just wishful thinking on my part.

I got billed for a penny. I also signed up for the free 3 month trial for hbo and sho time. Somehow, when coupled with my hd and sports pack, the movie trials pushed me up to 5 premium discount of $10. So my bill actually got lowered by $10 until I cancel the trial.

Dish lists the Cinemax for a penny thing on their web site and says it is available to existing customers. When I signed up for Dish six months ago, it was offered to me as a new customer. I told my Uncle about it and he called and had it added to his account as well so it should be available to anyone.
