Then again, since so many of Dish's uplink people "monitor" this site, they're already aware of this "issue" by now and will do something about it (right ?).

I don't think waiting will do it... I tried waiting when BET got added, and it never came on.... Had to call up a CSR to get the account hit again a few days later and it worked right after that.

Thanks for the info. This worked great for me too. The channels poped in 10 seconds after the re hit.

Got on-line with CRS. This way I did not have to talk to someone live. They Just did an authorization re-hit. Two minutes later I had FX and Speed. Also I got Bet from weeks ago.

I have top 250 plus gold hd.

So FX and Speed are the only ones Gold HD
Everything else is Platinum. So the online support says and what I see on my TV.

Try Unplugging your receiver for 1 minute., If that doesn't work , You might have to call E* for a rehit.

Unplugged it, called them and they had me do the same crap, check switch, unplug ect, no mention of a rehit.

You have to contact DiSH Network for a rehit.

Are the channels in red in the 9400-9500 range?

It is amazing that the CSR and Tech support still don't know about the addition of these HD channels. I just got off the phone with the CSR and the pass on to the tech support. Neither of them knew about the addition of the channels. Asked me where I had seen anything about the addition and I told them it was on several press releases on the internet. Put me on hold for several minutes and then had me reboot the receiver after they sent the update. I now have Speed HD, FX HD, and BET HD. I am on the classic Gold 250 plus HD. I did not have to reboot 1 of the receivers, It showed up when I turned it on. After the update they are on 150 HD and 136 HD as well as 9468 and 9475.

It might have showed up tomorrow but I didn't want to wait!

I've never 1 time in the 20 months with E* have I ever had to reset or call E* to receive new channels MY receivers always get the update on their own.
