So, I started getting tons of satellite signal lost indicators and of course, I suspected the OTA tuner losing signal... With springtime and the leaves, my multipath characteristics have changed and I now have a certain station causing me trouble.

My quick fix was to delete that channel from the tuner. I guess I'll be redesigning my OTA installation.

I wish Dish would fix this bug. It is so annoying.

What bug?

When you lose an OTA signal, even when watching sat, you may get a "lost signal" error msg on screen.

Just cause it does not happen to you does not mean there is no bug. I have this issue also and it is a known bug that if u have a bad ota signal it will knock u out of sat too.

+1

I've had it happen on both my 622 and 722 (NON K). If/when it happens it'll even mess up your ability to view recorded programming.

Well, I have had no trouble after deleting the offending channel.

I think I may leave it out and not worry about moving the antenna. It's NBC and they suck right now anyway.

It seems to me that if I tune to my most stable OTA channel then switch to a sat. ch. it works fine. It is when my last viewed OTA channel is a weak signal and dropping out, that I have the problem. The other night we had lightning and rf6, wrgb, low band, was going nuts, I tuned to a more stable UHF OTA, and my Sat viewing was OK. Anyone else notice this? (722)

Yes. Same thing here.

I now have the same problem, so I will also delete the problem OTA channel,
I am glad I read your post.
