interesting that they added HD PBS to markets not available yet

Is that what they (Dish) was waiting for? If I remember, STELA says they have to launch new markets in HD with PBS

Until a judge rules that they can temporarily ignore the PBS provisions of the STELA bill, during th e litigation period of the lawsuit, they still have to abide by the provisions.

Well.... again no HD for Shreveport, looks like that this MIGHT be changing as PBS HD is now up linked

They uplinked the other HD locals for Davenport to 77W earlier this year (I think March) and they still are not availabe. Looks like they are now adding the PBS channels. What good does it do if they have them liked but never make them available.

I'm only one mile from being in the Shreveport DMA. Wonder what the chances are of getting dish to switch me from the Tyler/Longview TX DMA once the Shreveport locals goes HD. Hmmm.....

you might have to *move* like I did to Dallas, If I were you, I would move to Dallas as 98% content is HD. Wish I had stayed :rant:

KOOD is only HD from 6:00 P.M to Midnight, we have it on our cable system classified as QAM channels, if your tv has a QAM tuner, I see that KPTS HD is uplinked, I wonder now how long it's going to be before Wichita Ks is turned on.
