VIP 622, channel 290 "Free" PPV preview, not really free question..

Ok, so this channel today is showing Clash of the Titans, and right next to it in the guide, it says: "Free PPV Previews". So, I'd think that PPV's on this particular channel are FREE right?

So how come when I try to select it to watch it, it says that it costs money, and wants to charge me? Which is it? Free or charge? Anybody tried it, and got it for free?

It's a free preview channel not a free movie channel.

So, how come it wants to charge me to watch it? I don't want to be charged, so I haven't clicked completely through, but it asks me to: "confirm if I want to purchase this movie".....

Are going to the channel during the 10 minute free preview period? Or when its showing the movie that must be paid for?

It is free to preview the movie for about 10 minutes. If you want to see the rest of the movie, you get charged.

Ok, now this makes sense. Thanks!

I must not have ever hit it at the very beginning, during the "free" part. Since it's only "free" for 10 minutes or so, I'm not going to bother.. I don't like playing games with Dish, (any provider, and I'll admit Charter cable was far worse in screwing you every chance they got) so thanks for giving me the straight of it.
