Well, I logged into Dish Network under My Account and looked at pay per view certificates and saw I was given 6 free ppv certs on Jan 27 that expire on April 27 2011.
Since I didn't talk to Dish about anything with my account I wonder if this is my free premiums. I have top 250 and the free 3 months starz and platinum so I guess I lost out maybe on the year of free starz?
Anyone else with this combo of programming see ppv certs in their account? Or maybe someone with everything pack?
I was going to cancel starz on Jan 31 but I guess it's too late for that?
 
Same here. After Feb 1 I am going to see if I can get this fixed. In my case I would like a free Platinum rather than a free Starz.
 
I've got the same thing going on. I'm *hoping* that this corrects itself. I guess I'll need to wait until Feb 1 to call and ask about it. :-(
 
I have AEP and HD premium and I, too, have 6 PPV in my account. However, I know I won't use the PPV so I chatted online and asked if I could cancel my Premium, cancel the PPV, and have the Premium turned on tomorrow for free. I was told no. Would I stand a better chance calling a CSR?
 
If you mean Platinum rather than Premium, I believe they can switch the gift as you want. At least that is what I was told during an online chat. Call/chat/tweet or otherwise get to Dish tomorrow and see if they will be more forthcoming.
 
I've got all of the Starz channels in both HD and SD, plus several Encore channels and I just got FX SD and HD as well.

If you're looking at a favorites list, you might have to go in and modify the list and add them. Mine did not add automatically.

Starz is only worth it to me, if it is indeed free. Too many logos and popups for a supposedly "premium" channel (more than zero is too many if I am paying for a premium).
 
It's a service that is normally $13 a month for free. That's it! There are no advertisements or anything else. Dish customers are the only ones getting this free year long preview. Every other provider is still paying. IT'S STILL PREMIMUM!
 
Just played CSR Roulette. First person said there were no 1 year promos. Second said I wasn't eligible because I was getting new customer discounts. Third person removed my free 3 month trial of Starz, then added Starz for 1 year for free for me and said I could keep my PPV coupons. :)
