I am looking for a way to mount all my cabling to my siding on my house.

Currently, I have standard P clips that are screwed into the siding, but they seem to break often. I live in Ohio so I get extreme weather, from below zero and a foot of snow to 95+ degree humid days, so I am thinking maybe the weather causes the clips to break? I hate looking at the cable when I cut the grass because I always find a new broken one. Or maybe its from animals chewing on it? I dunno, but either way, the plastic P clups aren't doing it.....

Nylon Cable Clamps

What do you folks use or recommend OTHER than the nylon or plastic clips? I want something I install and am done with for a while, if possible.

Thanks in advance.

Depending on what you want to spend the nail in clips are the cheapest, but you could use exterior wire molding for housing the wire and most of the time you can find a colour that matches your siding . I use custom PVC pipe for my external wiring, it is painted to the same color of the siding, as I live in a townhouse and homeowners associations can get on your case about eyesores (aka wires hanging, or not the same color as the siding).

As mentioned by others, flex clips work well. I don't know how your cable is routed along your siding - if it goes in a fairly straight line around the perimeter of the house, or if it goes up and across, etc. - but have you thought about removing the siding panels and placing the coax behind the siding, thus both securing and hiding it at the same time?

If it has really got to last and NEVER come off, I use Thomas and Betts aluminum "U" clamps with stainless steel screws. I've seen these on houses that are over 40 years old that are still there with little or no corrosion.
