1. A one button on/off toggle for PIP on the HR34.

2. LIST>LIST as a shortcut to the TODO list.

3. A way to sort out new episodes of shows, display the first air date on the main/first info screen.

4. Bring back the color buttons.

5. An 8 tuner HMC.

I remember when HDNET and HD Movies were $10
Me too, I had an H20-600 I paid $199 for at Bestbuy.

I got:
  • Fox HD
  • CBS HD
  • TNT HD
  • ESPN HD
  • ESPN 2 HD
  • HD Net
  • HD Net Movies
  • HD PPV
  • HBO HD
  • Showtime HD

$10 for what we have now , Endless HD On Demand, 170 HD channels, I think I'll be ok with the $10 fee.:)

And I didn't knock any of your requests so why must you guys pick on mine.
It just doesn't seem all that well thought out to have a guide that is in an arbitrary order. Try to imagine how it would be implemented and how it could be maintained.

Perhaps if you could make a case for how it would be of significant benefit you would get some support.

^Maybe losing the channel #s so you don't become dyslexic? like There's Espn..there's Hbo..(to a crowd.) Names without #s, like QuickTune.

Maybe I would like to have all my sports networks together, all the News networks together in my guide.

Should be no problem. If we can create a favorites list now, why can't we choose how its ordered? Doesn't seem very complicated at all.

It's not--but they just don't want to deal with the calls to CS when someone's kids jack up their channel lineup and their do dumb to find the "reset to default" option.

I have actually seen this advertised as a feature before and thought "wow that's cool" -- it was a rural IPTV provider who had Samsung boxes. CebturyLink PrismTV may allow you to do this too.

My TiVo Premiere allows me to sort alphabetically or by channel number.... If anyone was going to try this on a larger scale, I think TiVo would be the best bet...

The only thing I wish D* would do is if you have recordings at the same time on the Big4 networks (for simplicity)...it should only take up one tuner

Heck D* knows how to stack 5 tuners into one receiver....shouldnt be too hard to figure that out. I'll say Big4 but in **most** cases all of a cities HD channels are on same TP so maybe have it do all of HD networks. Yeah I know there are areas where its on 2 or 3 TP's (NY, LA) or markets where an imported station is on a different TP but for most of us it should work fine ;)
