national release so date really isnt important if its tonight or yesterday
plus its staggered so they may get it next week

My receiver says on Feb 2nd I downloaded 066A...is this a new CE??

No it is not a CE release. This is a new national software release as an update to all H2x and HR2x receivers that will be rolled out over the next week or two.

I'm new to directv, is it weird that I haven't received this update yet? I have a HR24. My receiver shows the jan 31st software, which was the day I actually had the system installed.

Thanks for any advice

andrewj - If it is higher than your current version than yes. The receiver will always take the higher number.

Hr 24-100, looks like I have 0x62c from December -

And The game lounge icon always seems to be missing until I highlight it

So I still haven't received the update yet so I tried to force the update... I got to the software download screen but it still downloaded 0x62c from jan 31st. Any reason why the force update didn't update my hr24 to the newest version?

Won't get the new release until Directv authorizes it for your box, sounds like they are still "staggered" rolling-out this release, which is common given the large amount of these receivers out there.
