Could a DIRT member please PM me? I just had a dish install done yesterday and did not realize that the hopper only had three tuners. I'm interested in getting a 2nd Hopper.

I made the leap and get mine tomorrow after waiting and waiting. I need a repeak and likely dish moved from some trees that are starting to mess the signal up.

Let us know if you have any questions. Keep in mind it can take a couple of days for everything to start working.(apps)
Just wanted to say thanks to BeckiB from DIRT. Even after reading the forums, I still had about 70 questions about upgrading, and she answered everything with great patience.

Hi newbie here with my first ever post. I have gotten my info on Dish from Satelliteguys.us for years, and as a longtime Dish customer would like to be contacted about upgrade possibilities for our family. Currently have our 3rd 622 w/ EHD and am using an OTA antenna attached to the 622. I would like to look at the possibilities for a Hopper w Sling and 2 Joeys w/OTA module and I would like to use an EHD again. If someone from the Dirt crew could contact me I would like to see what offers would be available for us. Thanks.

722K Rebooting Constantly - HWS upgrade options?
Been a dish customer for a little over 4 years with a 722K. For the last couple of months it reboots constantly - thinking about upgrading to a HWS. I called a CSR who said it would be $100 + $95 tech fee + new 2 year agreement + $12/mo extra. I was thinking I might be a "plan A" customer and entitled to a free upgrade, so this wasn't the best news... Please PM me on whether I have any better options or not. thx!

Hello, I would like to have a DIRT member contact me. Here is my situation. I have the old Hopper with two Joeys. I just added a new TV in my Home Office and I also plan to add one in my daughters room. I would like to see what it would cost me to add another Hopper to my setup and possibly to add another Joey later down the road. I would also like to know if this will extend my contract since I am in the middle of my second year with Dish.

Long time lurker, first time poster ;-) Been with dish since a November of 2010, coming up on three years (currently out of contract)! Recently contacted by the Cable company (Comcast) about getting on the new X1 platform for TV. Currently have a 722k 2 tuner box feeding my living room and my upstairs bedroom along with a second leased dumb box (no dvr) in our den upstairs. Looks like I would need a Hopper + 2 joeys.
Curious to find out what can be done for a relatively young customer such as myself, always on auto-pay, always on time etc. Just really excited by some of the new boxes out there and can't see being charged a fee to get current when new customers are getting everything for free and in an iPad 2

We have the VIP 622 for our main box. We also have two regular boxes, but not sure which they are, on other tvs. Would like to upgrade to the Hopper with sling and want to know what it will cost us to upgrade. We have been out of contract for some time and have had Dish since 2006. Got a great promotional package in the mail to go back to Directv and they are making it really hard to say no.
