Promo expiring....."call us back"

I got an email (which is awesome, btw) that I have a few promos that will end on Sept 12. I called Dish today, and they told me to call back on Sept 13th to see what they can do. I told the rep that I have NEVER had to do this in the past with ANY company, that usually they take care of it in some sort of way.

This rep was adamant that nothing could be done until after I lose the promo and "hope for the best and that something is available."


Thoughts?
 
I don't think that is what the OP is asking. If you are asking what other promos can they do or extend the promos, in some cases that really does depend on what is available at the time yours expire. For instance there has been the 1/2 price premiums promo, but that might not be available when your present ones expire, and you might not be eligible for another one right now or to extend ones you have now. As always it also depends on the account.

It is great however as you point out that you got an Email letting you know yours were going to be expiring.
 
This is a confusing post. Are you saying that the CSR could not cancel the promos for you until after they we finished or are you saying they couldn't offer you any new promos until after the current ones were finished?
 
^anytime I have ever had a promo offer, when it gets close to expiration, I call and they work out something new if available. Even crappy TWC.

I got an email from Dish stating that I have a promo that expires Sept 12. I called to see what my options were for a new promo, good price, whatever can be done if anything. The only answer I kept getting was "call us back Sept 13."
